OUR MISSION & VISION
The Change of Terre Haute mission is to raise awareness of racial injustice and poverty in our communities, standing on the frontline for black lives and people of color, and to affect change in collaboration with other local organizations.

We envision neighborhoods, schools, businesses, governments and institutions where outcomes are no longer predicted by race, where people - regardless of race – enjoy improved conditions for health, safety, economic security and political power.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH
Change of Terre Haute is dedicated to improving our neighborhoods. We sponsor CommUNITY Clean-ups, focusing on underserved areas. Watch for opportunities to volunteer on Facebook!

Our goal is to open an after-school community center to offer programs for children & adults in vulnerable neighborhoods by partnering with other service-oriented organizations.
RACIAL JUSTICE
We believe deliberate and focused attention on the various manifestations of racism—interpersonal, cultural, institutional and structural—is required to transform unfair and unjust outcomes by race, with a special attention paid to educational institutions and the criminal justice system.
